Phuket Indy Night Market

Located right in front of our hostel on Dibuk Road this lovely night market known in Thai as “Lardploykhong” has a youthful and fun vibe. Here you can pick up some great local crafts and art and enjoy local food and entertainment.

Phuket Walking Street

A visit to Phuket Walking Street locally referred to as Lardyai Market in the Old Town gives you a cultural experience as well as the opportunity to buy locally produced crafts, products and food. The market is set up along Thalang Road and takes place on Sunday evening only just around the corner from our hostel Phuket Thailand.

Khao Rang Hill

Rang Hill offers wonderful views over Phuket town and the south of the island including surrounding islands and the popular Big Buddha. Stop for a bite to eat at one of the hilltop restaurants, bring the children to play at the playground and visit the temple at the top of the mountain.

Monkey Hill

Monkey Hill also known as Khao To Sae is the highest hill in Phuket Town. If you venture up the hill you will soon realise why is it called Monkey Hill as you will come across the macaques that call this place home. The hill is also where some TV and radio stations are based and it is often used as a jogging track by locals.

Saphan Hin Park

This seafront park in Phuket town is 3 km from Poshtel and is a popular location for locals to relax. The area was formerly a port during the tin mining era of Phuket and it has been redeveloped into this spacious park with walkways grassy areas. This is also a popular location for festivals and events.

Phuket Town Street Art

Amazing street art has been popping up all over Phuket Town, there is now a printed map for you to explore the streets and take in the wonderful artwork which is displayed on the sides of buildings and walls adding character to the town.

Old Phuket Town

The historic Old Phuket Town was built on the riches of the tin mining era over 100 years ago. There are a number of Sino-Portuguese mansions, Chinese shrines and ornate shophouses to explore. Over recent years these streets and buildings have been renovated and you can find quaint cafes, restaurants, museums and more. Highlights are Soi Rommanee, Dibuk Road and Thalang Road, all within easy walking distance of our hostel Phuket City.
